The Mastersingers by the Sea Chamber chorus accompanied by musicians from the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra and under the direction of Dr. David MacKenzie will perform their Spring concert entitled “Spring - A Season of Renewal”.
The program will include:
WILLIAM BOYCE: Overture No. 7 in G Major
J. S. BACH: Mass in G Major BWV 236
VIVALDI: Violin Concerto in E Major, “Spring” from “The Four Seasons” with Jesse Holstein, violin, Concertmaster of the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra
GWYNETH WALKER: The Great Trees (2009)
The concert will take place Sunday April 22, 3 pm (and Saturday April 21, 8 pm) at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 91 Main St. in Falmouth. Audience members are invited to a reception immediately following the performance.
