The Mastersingers by the Sea Chamber chorus accompanied by musicians from the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra and under the direction of Dr. David MacKenzie will perform their Winter concert entitled "A Zest for Love”.
The program features Hillary Nicholson, mezzo-soprano, and Paul Cienniwa, harpsichord, and includes,

- Eric Whitacre: This Marriage (2004)
- Claudio Monteverdi: Three Madrigals Madrigals

- Gerald Finzi: Romance for Strings (1951)
- Manuel De Falla: Concerto for Harpsichord, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Violin and Cello (1926)

The concert will take place Saturday March 5, 2011 at 8 pm (and Sunday March 6 at 3 pm) at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 91 Main St. in Falmouth. Audience members are invited to a reception immediately following the performance. Advance tickets are $20, tickets at the door are $25.
