"The Greatest Music You've (Probably) Never Heard"

The Mastersingers by the Sea Chamber chorus accompanied by musicians from the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra and under the direction of Dr. David MacKenzie will perform their Fall concert entitled “The Greatest Music You’ve (Probably) Never Heard: (Somewhat) Neglected Masterpieces 

The program includes:

-George Frideric Handel: Concerto Grosso in D Major, Op. 3, No. 6
-G. Gabrielli: In ecclesiis
-Morten Lauridson: O Magnum Mysterium 
-Johann Stamitz: “Mannheim” Symphony No. 3 in B-flat Major
-Antonio Vivaldi: Concerto for Bassoon in B-flat RV 501 “La Notte”
-Dietrich Buxtehude: Das neugeborne kinderlein Bux WV13
-Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Venite Populi

The concert will take place  Sunday November 14 at 3 pm (also Saturday November 13, 8:00 pm) at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 91 Main St. in Falmouth. Audience members are invited to a reception immediately following the performance.  Advance tickets are $20, tickets at the door are $25.
